How do I get a Certification of License History or a Letter of Good Standing for my real estate license?
For online certification issued by the Real Estate Commission and the Real Estate Appraiser Board currently there is only one option through your online account. The licensee will receive a sealed and signed certification to their email address; in addition participating jurisdictions will receive a direct certification to their state, from the Florida Division of Real Estate (DRE).
The online printable certificate (Complimentary - No Fee) includes the Florida Licensee's name and address; their license number, current status, initial license date, license type, expiration date, initial exam information, calculates how many active days up to 10 years and displays those relationships start and end dates. The certification will have DRE Director's signature and DRE seal in BLUE to indicate it is a true certified original. It also incorporates a Q-code so that if you have a reader it will display the licensure's information as displayed on the Department of Business and Professional Regulation (DBPR) portal.
On a separate, certified page the licensee will receive any public discipline that may have been given against the licensee. If no discipline, it will state so on the document. This page is signed and sealed as well in BLUE to indicate a true certified original. The licensee will receive a sealed and signed certification directly to their email address; in addition participating jurisdictions have agreed to receive a direct certification to their state from DBPR- DRE.
For a certification of licensure history to use in court, or for legal purposes, please submit a written request for certification of license history and include your name, address where the certification is to be sent, license number, the reason you are requesting certification, and a fee of $25.00 per certification.
